Nine weeks in Denver. Eleven weeks in many different countries and cities on the road. This is a once in a lifetime mission experience! The DTS is an exciting time of drawing near to God. It was designed to provide Christians with the opportunity to take five months away from the pressures and responsibilities of life to focus entirely on Jesus.

During the first nine weeks, you will be plugged into a schedule that will provide you with time alone with God, small group interaction, classroom teachings, study time, weekly outreaches, fellowship and ministry with local churches and of course, free time to let it all soak in.

As a student, you will participate in weekly outreaches with our YWAM Denver staff to serve the local church and community. Furthermore, to maintain reasonable student costs for our programs, students will be involved in work duties for ten hours each week. This involves a variety of general service tasks, ranging from cooking and cleaning to general maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Following the nine week lecture phase of DTS, you will complete your DTS requirements by putting what you have learned into practice on the mission field. The eleven week outreach will include service in an international setting, as well as lectures "on the road." After the 80-day adventure around the world, students will debrief back in Denver for one week, followed by graduation.
